rapid city, south dakota

JUNE 17th-JUNE 24th, 2017

This trip will be open to students who complete 6th-12th grades in the 2016-2017 school year. This trip will be hosted through Youthworks.

ABOUT:

Rapid City, South Dakota is a place of adventure and awe-inspiring beauty. The town is the gateway to the Black Hills which means it includes scenic drives, waterfalls, wildlife and the world’s highest concentration of public parks, monuments and memorials. However, as visitors seek out the local attractions, it’s easy to miss the areas of struggle and strength within this community and its heritage. Instead most people think of Mount Rushmore and consider Rapid City to be the most patriotic city in the nation. We will serve in a variety of ways including elderly care, food bank projects, helping at a clothing distribution center, serving at a soup kitchen, and sharing God's love with kids through a community children's program.

HAITI

JULY 15th-JULY 22nd, 2017

This trip will be open to students who complete 9th-12th grades in the 2016-2017 school year. This trip will be hosted through Praying Pelican

ABOUT:

On our Haiti mission trip, ministry opportunities in this mountainous country are endless as Praying Pelican Missions partners with local pastors and leaders in both rural and urban areas. In the past, mission trips to Haiti have been characterized by hard labor and construction projects because of recent natural disasters. The variety of ministry needs today range from kids clubs to business ethics seminars including service projects as well as medical clinics. This trip will be customized to the hearts and gifts of the people on our team.
